CHAPTER 96.
AN ACT to provide for the appointment of an
additional Justice of the Peace of the State
of Maryland in and for the Fourth Election
District of Saint Mary's county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That an additional Jus-
lice of the Peace shall be appointed by the
Governor of this State, in the manner now

provided by law for the appointment of Jus-
tices of the Peace in this State, in and for the
Fourth Election District of Saint Mary's county,
whose term of office shall begin on the same
day as that of the other Justices of the Peace
of the said county.

Additional
Justice.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 97.
AN ACT to repeal chapter one hundred and
three of the act, eighteen hundred and sixty-
seven, entitled an Act for the extension of
the powers of the Bailiff of the town of
Easton, in Talbot county, and article twenty,
section eighty-two, of the Local Code, en-
titled "Easton.''
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That chapter one hun-

dred and three, of the Act of eighteen hundred
and sixty-seven, and section eighty-two, article
twenty, of the Local Code, title "Easton," be
and the same is hereby repealed.

Repeal.
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
