CHAPTER 92.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to
pay George E. Haddaway, late Collector of
State taxes in Talbot county, the amount
overpaid by him into the State Treasury.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Comptroller
of the State be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer of this State, to pay George E. Had-

daway, of Talbot county, the sum of one hun-
dred and thirty-two dollars and fifty-six cents,
being the amount overpaid by the said George
E. Haddaway into the State Treasury as Col-
lector of State taxes for said county for the
years eighteen hundred and eighty-two and
eighteen hundred and eighty-three, and cer-
tified to by the Comptroller and Treasurer of
this State, and by them recommended to be
refunded.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 94.

AN ACT to amend the act passed at the Jan-
uary session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, chapter twenty-nine, entitled an act to
incorporate the Atlantic Hotel Company of
Berlin, Worcester county, and to repeal sec-
tion three, and enact in lieu of said section
the following section.
