		CHAPTER 83. AN ACT to add two additional sections to the acts of December session eighteen hundred and forty-seven, chapter one hundred and eighty-eight, entitled " An act to incorporate the Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Mont- gomery county," to be numbered " Section 1 A," and "Section 1 B," authorizing said company to make insurances against loss or damage occasioned by lightning. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As- sembly of Maryland, That the following sec- tions, to be known and numbered as " Section 1 A" and " Section 1 B," respectively, be and
	New sections-	the same are hereby added to the acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the December session eighteen hundred and forty- seven, chapter one hundred and eighty-eight, entitled "An act to incorporate the Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Montgomery county," to wit : SECTION 1 A. And be it enacted, That the said company shall have full power and authority to make insurances on any kind of property against loss or damage occasioned by lightning,
	Authority.	whether fire shall result therefrom or not; provided, that the power and authority con- ferred on said company by this section, shall be subject to such provisions and regulations of said acts of eighteen hundred and forty- seven, chapter one hundred and eighty-eight, as may be applicable thereto. SECTION 1 B. And be it enacted, That said company shall have power and authority to
	By-laws.	make any and all needful and suitable rules, regulations and by-laws concerning loss or damage by lightning not inconsistent with the provisions of its charter.
	Effective.	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage. Approved March 25, 1886.
