CHAPTER 82.
AN ACT to authorize and require the Comp-
troller of the Treasury to issue his warrant
upon the Treasurer for the payment of a
sum of money to the Delaware, Maryland
and Virginia Railroad Company, for a cer-
tain sum erroneously paid into the State
Treasury by the Worcester Railroad Com-
pany.
WHEREAS the Worcester Railroad Company,
on the third day of July, in the year eighteen
hundred and eighty-three, a corporation using
steam, duly incorporated, and then existing
under the laws of the State of Maryland, and
doing business in said State, did pay to John
N. Henman, Collector of State taxes for Wor-

cester county for the year eighteen hundred
and eighty-two, the sum of one hundred and
thirty-one dollars and fifty-nine cents, in full
of State tax claimed to be due to the State of
Maryland for the year eighteen hundred and
eighty-two, from said Worcester Railroad Com-
pany, which said sum of money the said John
N. Henman, as collector as aforesaid, paid into
the Treasury of the State of Maryland; and
