Chapter 9.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
Peter W. Shafer, late Collector of Taxes for Fred-
erick county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury
be and lie is hereby authorized and directed to issue
his warrant upon the Treasurer of the State to pay
Peter W. Shafer, of Frederick county, the sum of
thirty-six dollars and seventy-five cents, being the
amount overpaid by the said Peter W. Shafer into the
treasury as collector of state and county taxes for

Frederick county for the years eighteen hundred and
seventy-eight and eighteen hundred and seventy-nine,
and certified to by the Comptroller and Treasurer of
this State, and by them recommended to be refunded.
