Chapter 5 14.


AN ACT to incorporate the town of Catonsville, in


Baltimore county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the inhabitants of Catonsville, in

Body corporate

Baltimore county, are a body corporate by the name


of " The Commissioners of Catonsville," and by that


name may sue and be sued, and may have and use a


common seal and have perpetual succession.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the corporate and


taxable limits of said town shall be defined as follows :


Beginning on the northerly side of Edmondson ave-


nue, at the point -where it intersects the easterly side of


Ingleside avenue, and running thence eastwardly


along the north side of Edmondson avenue to the


point where it intersects the easterly side of Nunnery


lane; thence southwardly, along the easterly side of


Nunnery lane to the Baltimore and Frederick turnpike ;


thence crossing said pike and continuing the line of


the easterly side of Nunnery lane, in a southerly direc-


tion, until it intersects the south side of the roadbed

thence westwardly, along the south side of said road-


bed to the point where it intersects the west side of


Bloomsberry lane; thence continuing the line of the


south side of said railway westwardly until it inter-


sects the westerly side of the Rolling road; thence


along the westerly side of said Rolling road to the


north side of the Baltimore and Frederick turnpike ;


thence by a straight line northwardly to a point where


6aid line would intersect the north side of the pro-


posed extension westwardly of Edmondson avenue;


and thence eastwardly, along the north side of said


proposed extension of Edmondson avenue to the place


of beginning.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the registered


voters of Catonsville who have resided within its cor-


porate limits six months preceding the election, and
