	Chapter 508.
	AN ACT to appropriate a certain sum of money to
	reimburse John B. Brooke, Associate Judge of the
	seventh judicial circuit of Maryland, for money
	expended by him in the contested election cases of
	Chew versus Brooke, aud also to pay F. Snowden
	Hill and William M. Merrick for services rendered
	in same cases.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That the comptroller of the treasury be
	and he is hereby authorized and directed to draw his
	warrant upon the treasurer for the payment of eight
	hundred and thirty-three dollars and thirty-three cents
	to John B. Brooke, associate judge of the seventh judi-
	cial circuit of Maryland, to reimburse him for money	Draw warrant.
	expended by him in the contested election cases of
	Chew versus Brooke, and the comptroller is further
	authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon the
	treasurer in favor of F. Snowden Hill, for the payment
	of two hundred dollars, and a further warrant in favor
	of William M. Merrick, for the payment of one hun-
	dred dollars, for services rendered in the same cases.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take	Effective.
