the person for whom the prescription is intended, and

every such prescription shall be filed and kept for at
|
|
|
|
least one year by such pharmacist or druggist, and no
|
|
|
|
such prescription shall serve for more than one pur-
|
|
|
|
chase; no physician shall make or sign any such pre-
|
|
|
|
scription, unless the same be requisite and necessary,
|
|
|
|
and such liquor required as a medicine; any one vio-
|
|
|
|
lating the provisions of this act shall, on conviction, be
|

fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than three

hundred dollars for each and every offense, and be

imprisoned in the House of Correction for not less than

three months and not more than six months; and pro-

ufacture of cider from fruit of any kind grown in Tal-

bot county, or the sale of cider made from fruit grown

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

AN ACT to provide for the publication of the Archives
|
|
|
|
of Maryland.
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS the Maryland Historical Society, acting
|
|
|
|
under authority of the act of assembly of eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and eight-two, chapter one hundred and
|
|
|
|
thirty-eight, has provided a fire-proof vault for the
|
|
|
|
safe-keeping of the archives and ancient documents
|
Preamble.
|
|
|
pertaining to the history of the state, and has pub-
|
|
|
|
lished the first volume of the archives of Maryland ;
|
|
|
|
and whereas it is proper that the publication of
|
|
|
|
said archives be continued, with reasonable diligence
|
|
|
|
and care, under the direction of said society; there-
|
|
|
|
fore ?
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the sum of two thousand dollars
|
|
|
|
for each year, for the period of two years from this
|

|
|
|
date, be and the same is hereby appropriated, and
|
|
|
|
shall be paid to the said Maryland Historical Society
|
