Chapter 483.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to reim-

burse M. Nelson Whiteford, late collector of taxes

in the fifth election district of Harford county, for

taxes erroneously paid into the treasury of this state.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the comptroller of this state be

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

Chapter 433.

AN ACT to repeal section twenty-six of article fifty-

six of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled

"Licenses," sub-title " Hawkers and Pedlars," so far

as the same relates to Anne Arundel county, and to

re-enact the same with amendments, so as to read as

follows.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That section twenty-six of article fifty-

six of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled

Repealed and
re-enacted.

" Licenses," sub-title " Hawkers and Pedlars," be and

the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same relates

to Anne Arundel county, and re-enacted so as to read

as follows.
