Chapter 408.


AN ACT to subscribe for copies of Gans' Digest of


Maryland Statutes and Decisions on Criminal Law,


and to regulate the distribution thereof.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the state librarian be and he is


hereby authorized and directed to subscribe in the


name of the State for three hundred copies of the


Digest of Maryland Statutes and Decisions on Crimi-

required, on the warrant of the comptroller, which he


shall issue on receipt of a certificate from the state


librarian that the said copies have been delivered to

of nine hundred dollars.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That copies of the said


Digest shall be distributed as follows : To the court of


appeals, one copy for the office, and one for each of


the judges thereof; to each of the associate judges of


the circuit courts of the several counties, to the chief


judge and each of the associate judges of the court


of the supreme bench of Baltimore city, one copy; to


the clerk of the criminal court of Baltimore, one


copy; to the clerks of the circuit courts for the several
