SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the personal representatives of
|
|
|
|
the said James F. Gleaves be and they are hereby
|
|
|
Report sale
under oath.
|
authorized and empowered to report, under oath, the
|
|
|
|
aforesaid sale unto said court, and the proceedings
|
|
|
|
taken by said James F. Gleaves in reference to the
|
|
|
|
same, and the sources of their information; and if
|
|
|
|
the said court shall be satisfied that the said James F.
|
|
|
|
Gleaves, in making said sale, complied with all the
|
|
|
|
requirements of the law in such matter, then the said
|
|
|
Cases to ratify.
|
court shall take the same proceedings thereon as
|
|
|
|
though said report had been made by said James F.
|
|
|
|
Gleaves, including the final ratification of said sale ;
|
|
|
|
and the said report of sale and the other proceedings,
|
|
|
|
if finally ratified by the court as aforesaid, shall have
|
|
|
|
the same force and effect as though the said James F.
|
|
|
|
Gleavea had made said report of sale; and, on the
|
|
|

final ratification of said sale, the said personal repre-

force and effect.

sentatives shall make a conveyance of said property
|
|
|
|
to the said purchaser thereof, and the said conveyance
|
|
|
|
shall have the same force and effect as though made
|
|
|
|
by said James F. Gleaves, the party making said sale
|
|
|
|
as aforesaid.

|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any acts or parts
|
|
|

of acts inconsistent with the above be and the same

acts repealed —
elective.
|
are hereby repealed, and this act to take effect from
|
|
|
|
the date of its passage.

|
