Chapter 401.


AN ACT to repeal chapter sixty-nine of the acts


passed January session, eighteen hundred and sev-


enty-eight, entitled " An act in relation to the road


running to Brents Landing, on Port Tobacco creek,


from the point of its intersection with the public

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assemby


of Maryland, That chapter sixty-nine of the acts


passed at the January session, eighteen hundred and


seventy-eight, entitled " An act in relation to the road

same .is hereby repealed.

Chapter 102.


AN ACT making appropriations for the support of


the State Government for the fiscal year ending on


the thirtieth day of September, eighteen hundred


and eighty-five.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That for the expenditures in the sup-


port of the state government, for the fiscal year begin-


ning with the first day of October, eighteen hundred
and eighty-four, and ending with the thirtieth day of

September, eighteen hundred and eighty five, the fol-


lowing sums of money, or so much thereof as may be


necessary, be and the same are hereby appropriated ;


that is to say ?


FOR STATE OFFICERS.


For the salary of the governor, four thousand five


hundred dollars; for the salary of the secretary of the


state, two thousand dollars; for the salary of the ines-
