Chapter 378.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the
|
|
|
|
claim of Daniel E. Davis.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the comptroller of the treasury
|
|
|
|
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to issue
|
|
|
|
his warrant upon the treasurer to pay to Daniel E.
|
|
|
|
Davis, of Annapolis, Maryland, the sum of six hun-
dred dollars for services rendered as night watchman
|
Appropriation
to pay night
watchman.
|
|
|
of the buildings within the state house enclosure, for
|
|
|
|
the years eighteen hundred and seventy and eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and seventy-one, the general appropriation
|
|
|
|
acts for those years having omitted to make the usual
|
|
|
|
and proper appropriation for the same.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|

Chapter 380.

AN ACT to provide for two additional Justices of

|

the Peace for Baltimore city.
|
|
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the governor be and is hereby
authorized and directed, by and with the advice of the
|
Additional Jus-
tices.
|
|
|
senate, to appoint two additional justices of the peace
|
|
|
|
at large for Baltimore city.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|

|
|
|
from and after the date of its passage.
