		Chapter 334.
		AN ACT to amend article twenty-eight, title " County
		Commissioners," sub-title " Draining Lands," of the
		Code of Public General Laws, by adding a sub-sec-
		tion to section seventy-six of said article.
		SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
		of Maryland, That article twenty-eight of the Code
	Sub-section	of Public General Laws, title " County Commission-
	ailded.	ers," sub-title " Draining Lands," be amended by add-
		ing the following sub-section to section seventy-six of
		said article.
		SUB-SEC. 1. A majority of the taxables shall be a
		quorum for the purpose aforesaid; but if a majority
		of the taxables refuse or fail to meet upon the notice

		the county commissioners, upon proof that the re-
		quired notice has been given, shall be authorized and
		are directed to appoint such managers and treasurer.
		SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
