Chapter 289.


AN ACT to give the sanction of the General Assem-


bly of Maryland to the bequests in the last will and


testament of Sarah E. Roberts, late of Carroll


county, deceased, to the trustees of the Presbyterian


Congregation of Taneytown, Carroll county, Mary-


land, and to the Board of Foreign Missions of the


Presbyterian Church in the United States of


America.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the sanction of the General As-


sembly of Maryland be and it is hereby given to the


following bequests contained in the last will and testa-


ment of Sarah E. Roberts, late of Carroll county,


deceased, duly admitted to probate and recorded in


the office of the register of wills of Carroll county, viz :

Sanction given

one of the sum of five hundred dollars to the trustees

to bequest.

of the Presbyterian Congregation of Taneytown, Car-


roll county, Maryland; and one of five hundred


dollars to the board of foreign missions of the Presby-


terian Church in the United States of America, in-


corporated by the legislature of the State of New


York, both bequests to be subject to the restrictions


contained in the last will and testament of said Sarah


E. Roberts.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
