SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said board of

public works be and they are hereby authorized and
|
|

directed to contract for the construction of a proper
|
|

boiler shall be placed in any portion of the state house

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the comptroller of

the treasury be and he is hereby authorized and

sum of money as may be due for said ventilating
|
|

apparatus, under the contract made therefor by said

board of public works, not exceeding, however, the

|
|
|
|
be so drawn upon the order of said board, and their
|
|
|

placed in the said halls and is approved by them after
|

due and proper test of its efficiency; and nothing con-

tained in this act shall entail any expense upon the

state in the event of the failure of said apparatus to
|
|
|
|
properly ventilate said halls.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
|

AN ACT to extend the time for the completion of the

road of the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad

|
|
|
Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the time for the completion of
|
|
|
|
the main line of the road of the Baltimore and Drum
|
|
|
Time extended
|
Point Railroad Company be and the same is hereby
|
|
|
|
extended to the first day of May, in the year eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and ninety, and that none of the rights and
|
|
|
|
privileges granted to said company by its original
|
|
|
|
charter, or any supplement thereto, shall be in any
|
|
