Chapter 271.


AN ACT to repeal chapter one hundred and thirty-


five of the acts of eighteen hundred and eighty-two,


entitled "An act to amend the first section of an


act passed at the present session of the General


Assembly, entitled 'An act to provide for the uni-


form registration of the name's of all the qualified


voters in this state,' by adding thereto a sub-section,


to be designated as sub section one A, specially pro-


viding for the appointment of Officers of Registra-


tion in the Counties of this State, after the year


eighteen hundred and eighty-three," and to re-enact


the same with amendments providing for the trans-


fer of registered voters on the creation of new dis-


tricts.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That chapter one hundred and thirty-
