SEC. 2. The said commissioners shall be and are

hereby declared a body corporate by the name and

may be given, devised or bequeathed to them for the

support and maintenance of the poor of said county.

SEC. 3. The said commissioners shall meet within

ten days after their appointment, and shall qualify by

subscribing to the following oath, before the clerk of

the circuit court for said county, viz : " I, A. B., do

charities and corrections of Frederick county, accord-

ing to the best of my skill and knowledge, so help me

God."
