Chapter 336.


AN ACT to repeal section fifty-four of article fifteen


of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Mont-


gomery County," sub-title " Rockville," as re-


pealed and re enacted by the act of eighteen hun-


dred and seventy-two, chapter ninety-two, and to


re-enact the same with amendments.


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That section fifty-four of article fifteen


of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Mont-

and re-enacted by the act of eighteen hundred and


seventy-two, chapter ninety-two, be and the same is


hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as fol-


lows :


SEC. 54. The limits of the town of Rockville shall


begin at a pear tree standing on the south side of the


Darnestown road and at the northwest corner of the


lane adjoining the house lot now occupied by Mrs.


Rosa Williams and family, and running thence south


twenty- one and a half degrees, west twenty perches to


the southwest corner of said lane; thence in a straight


line to the southwest corner of the Rockville Academy


lot; thence in a straight line to the southeast corner


of the south end of Monroe street; thence in a straight


line to the end of the second line of the lot of Mrs.


Rosa V. Prettyman; thence with the third line of


said lot of said Mrs. Rosa V. Prettyman to a stone

heretofore planted at the end thereof; thence in a


straight line to the eastern edge of the Baltimore road,


at the point where it intersects with the southern side


of the Metropolitan Branch of the Baltimore and Ohio


Railroad; thence bounding on and with said southern


side of said railroad to a railroad bridge about three


hundred yards in a northwestern direction above the


Rockville railroad station; thence in a straight line to


the northeast corner of the lot of John P. Mulfinger, at


England's lane; thence in a straight line to the north-


east corner of the lot now owned by the heirs of the


late Nathaniel Warren, on the Frederick road; thence


in a straight line to a stone marked III, at the north-


west corner of the original plat of the town of Rock-
