SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

Chapter 208.


AN ACT to incorporate the town of Poolesville, in


Montgomery county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the citizens of the town of Pooles-


ville, in Montgomery county, be and they are hereby


created a body corporate by the name of " The Com-

missioners of Poolesville," with all the powers 'and

privileges of a body politic and corporate, and by said


corporate name may have perpetual succession, sue


and be sued, plead and be impleaded in any court of


law or equity in said county, and may have and use


a common seal.


SEC. 2. The corporate limits of the town shall be


as follows: Beginning at the mouth of the road lead-


ing from the Poolesville and Eockville road, through


the lands of Capt. John T. Fletchall, running on the


dividing line between T. R. Hall and Thomas H.


Poole; thence between Samuel Cator and said Thomas


H. Poole, continuing between Charles Poole and said


Thomas H. Poole; then between the Misses Talbott


and said Thomas H. Poole; then between the Pro-


testant Episcopal rectory and said Thomas H. Poole ;

thence between Dr. B. W. Walling and Richard Poole,

to the Beallsville road; then between F. S. Poole and


Mrs. E. W. Poole; thence between Miss Mattie Poole


and J. Sprigg Poole; thence between Charles T.


Grimes and J. Sprigg Poole, to the road leading to


White's ferry; then running from said road so as to


include the stable of Mrs. H. Metzgar, between


her and Mrs. M. Fauble; thence between Mrs. H.


Metzgar and Joseph Dyson, to the Edwards' ferry


road; then from said road on the line between Scott


Beall and Leonard Hebron; thence with a straight


line through Dr. Wooton's land to the land of Thomas
