Chapter 175.


AN ACT to give the sanction of the General Assem-


bly of Maryland to the purchase of a Parsonage by


the Yestry of Grace Church, Elk Ridge Landing,


Howard county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the sanction of the General Assem-


bly of Maryland be and the same is hereby given to

the purchase by the vestry of Grace Church, Elk Ridge


Landing, Howard county, of a lot of ground contain-


ing seventeen acres, and a house thereon, near said


church, for a parsonage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments


section eight hundred and eight of article four of


the Public Local Laws of this state, title " Balti-


more City," relating to the " Board of Police Com-


missioners for the City of Baltimore."


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That section eight hundred and eight

of Maryland be and is hereby repealed and re-enacted


to read as follows :


SEC. 808. The Board of Police Commissioners, after


the passage of this act, shall select some suitable

shall be to keep minutes of the proceedings of the


board, take charge, by direction of the board, of all


property seized or found by the police or detectives,


and to perform all clerical and proper duties required


of him by said board; and it shall further be the duty


of said secretary to prepare forms of all poll books


and election returns, warrants of arrest and commit-


ments to be used by the judges of election for all
