Chapter 161.

AN ACT to give and declare the sanction of the

General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest to

the Council of St. John's Lutheran Church of

Hagerstown, Washington county, contained in the

last will and testament of Mrs. Ann M. Firey,

deceased.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the sanction of the General As-

sembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby given

to the bequest of one thousand dollars to the Council

of St. John's Lutheran Church of Hagerstown, Wash-

Chapter 162.

AN ACT to refund to William S. Moore, late collec-

tor of taxes for Wicomico county, the sum of three

hundred and eighty-two dollars and sixty-six cents,

for money paid into the treasury of the state in

excess of the amount due by him to the state for

state taxes for eighteen hundred and eighty and

eighteen hundred and eighty-one.

department of the State of Maryland that William
