Chapter 158.


AN ACT to repeal chapter three hundred and ninety-


five of the acts passed at the January session, eigh-


teen hundred and eighty-two, entitled " An act for


the protection of Partridges,Woodcock and Rabbits,


and to prevent trespassing with gun or dog on pri-


vate property in Queen Anne's county," and to re-


enact the same with amendments so far only as said


county is concerned.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That chapter three hundred and ninety-


five of the acts passed at the January session, eighteen


hundred and eighty- two, entitled "An act for the pro-

repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :


SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That it shall not be


lawful for any person or persons in Queen Anne's


county to shoot, kill or catch, or in any way to entrap


any partridges or quail in said county, between the


second day of December and the first day of Novem-

SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That any person


or persons violating any of the provisions of the pre-


ceding section of this act shall be deemed guilty of a


misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof before any


justice of the peace for said county shall pay a fine
