Chapter 151.

AN ACT to authorize the Peoples Railway Company

to purchase or lease the lines of other passenger

railway companies of Baltimore city or county, or

within said limits, to aid any other such railroad

company in the construction of its road by subscrip-

tion to its capital stock or otherwise.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Peoples Railway Company,

a corporation duly incorporated under the act of

eighteen hundred and seventy-six, chapter two hun-

dred and forty-two, for the construction and operation

of a passenger railway in Baltimore city and county,

company within the limits of Baltimore city or county,

and to aid in the construction of such railroad within
