Chapter 18.

AN ACT to provide for an additional constable in
district number nine, Worcester county.

Appoint addi-
tional constable

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the county commissioners of Wor-
cester county be and they are hereby authorized and
empowered to appoint an additional constable in elec-
tion district number nine in Worcester county.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

Effective.

from and after its date of passage.
Approved March 7, 18S4.


Chapter 19.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Wesley Chapel
Episcopal Church at Reisterstown, Baltimore county,
as the same was incorporated by the act of eighteen
hundred and sixty-seven, chapter two hundred and
fifty-six, and to consolidate said corporation with
the corporation known as Grace Methodist Episco-
pal Church South, of Reisterstown, in Baltimore
county.

WHEREAS, by chapter two hundred and fifty-six of
the acts of assembly of eighteen hundred and sixty-
seven, passed on the twenty-second day of March,
eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, certain persons
therein named, and their successors, were, on behalf
of the Episcopal Methodist congregation worshiping

Preamble.

in the village of Reisterstown, incorporated as a body
politic under the name of the Wesley Chapel Episco-
pal Church at Reisterstown, Baltimore county, and
the church property in Reisterstown then held by and
for and used by the said church was thereby vested
in the congregation; and whereas, since the passing
of the said act of assembly, the members of the same
congregation have, by certificate filed in the office of
