SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all deeds, mort-

gages and other instruments of writing, the recording
|
|
|
|
of which is made necessary by law, which had been
|
|
|
|
recorded, and the records destroyed by fire, and which
|
|
|
|
have been recorded anew from the original or certified
|
|
|

AN ACT to refund to C. C. Strong, late collector of
|
|
|
|
taxes for the fifth election district of Kent county,
|
|
|
|
a sum of money overpaid by him into the state
|
|
|
|
treasury.

|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the comptroller be and he is
|
|
|
|
hereby authorized and directed to issiie his warrant
|
|
|

paid amount.

of taxes for the fifth election district of Kent county,

the sum of fifty-six dollars and forty-two cents, being

and recommended to be refunded by the said officers

of the treasury department.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
