Chapter 101.

AN ACT to authorize the Clerk of the Superior
|

Court of Baltimore city to destroy certain registra-
|
|
|
|
tion and poll books.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the clerk of the superior court
|
|
|
|
of Baltimore city be and he is hereby authorized
|
|
|
|
and directed to destroy all registration lists and
|
|
|

tration lists.

poll books now in his custody, except those made by
|
|
|
|
the officers of registration in said city in pursuance
|
|
|
|
of the act of eighteen hundred and eighty-two, en-
|
|
|
|
titled " An act to provide for the uniform registration.

|
|
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Comptroller
|
|
|
|
to apportion to Frederick county its usual and pro-
|
|
|
|
per proportion of the State School Tax.
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, by a special act of the general assembly,
|
|
|
|
passed at the January session, eighteen hundred and
|
|
|
|
seventy-six, chapter three hundred and nineteen, sec-
|
|
|
|
tion five, the board of county school commissioners of
|
|
|
|
Frederick county is prohibited from incurring any
|
|
|
|
indebtedness that cannot be paid out of the ordinary
|
|
|
|
income of said board, during the fiscal year in which
|
|
|
|
said debt is contracted; and whereas, for want of
|
|
|

sufficient funds, and in obedience to said act, the said
|
|
|
|
board of county school commissioners of Frederick
|
|
|
|
county were unable to keep open the public schools of
|
|
|
|
said county for seven and one half months for the year
|
|
|
|
ending on the thirty-first day of December, eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and eighty-three, and said Frederick county
|
|
|
|
may therefore be debarred under the act of eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and seventy-two, chapter three hundred and
|
|
|
|
seventy-seven, section six, from receiving its usual,
|
|
