SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the person or
|
|
|
|
persons, body corporate or politic, to whom the said
|
|
|
|
county commissioners may lease or rent the privilege
|
|
|
|
of building wharves as aforesaid, shall have full power
|
|
|

and authority to levy, charge and collect from all ves-
|
|
|
|
sels of every description whatsoever, using said
|
|
|
|
wharves, the same reasonable tolls or wharfage that
|
|
|
|
may now be sanctioned by law or usage in this state,
|
|
|
|
to be collected in the same manner as other small
|
|
|
|
debts are recoverable.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
|
|

AN ACT to add an additional section to article
|
|
|
|
eleven, Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
title " Frederick county," to follow after section
|
|
|
|
forty-five, (45) and to be section forty-five A, and
|
|
|
|
sub-title " County Surveyor."
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the following section be and the
|
|
|
|
same is hereby added to article eleven of the Code of
|
|
|
Additional
section.
|
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title " Frederick
|
|
|
|
county," to follow after section (45) of said article,
|
|
|
|
and to be section forty-five A, sub-title " County Sur-
|
|
|
|
veyor."
|
|
|
|
SEC. 45A. Whenever the county commissioners of
|
|
|
|
Frederick county shall, under the provisions of the
|
|
|
|
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, relating
|
|
|
|
to county commissioners and public and private roads,
|
|
|
|
appoint examiners to view the premises with a view
|
|
|

to locate any public or private road, and said exami-
|
|
|
|
ners shall, in pursuance of their duty, require the ser-
|
|
|
|
vices of a surveyor, such examiner shall notify the
|
|
|
|
surveyor for said county, whose duty it shall be to
|
|
|
|
render the service required by said examiners, either
|
|
|
|
in person or by deputy.
