AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the pay-

case of Emory J. Edwards, an officer of registration

for Alleghany county, whose case was heard and

tried before the Circuit Court of the United States

|

for the District of Maryland, at Baltimore, in Feb-
|
|
|
|
ruary, eighteen hundred and seventy-nine.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the sum of four hundred and ele-
|
|
|
|
ven dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated for
|
|
|
|
the payment of counsel fees, costs and expenses, in-
