books, ballot boxes and supplies; and in all other respects
Section 126 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, title "Elections, " sub-title "Compensations, " shall re-
main in full force and effect in Allegany County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent herewith, be, and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1933.

CHAPTER 505.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
6 and 14 of Chapter 448 of the Laws of Maryland of
1927, as said Act was amended by Chapter 286 of the
Laws of Maryland of 1929, by Chapter 204 of the Laws
of Maryland of 1931, and by Chapter 370 of the Laws of
Maryland of 1931, and to add a new section thereto to be
known as Section No. 33, the purpose of the amendments
made by this Act being to authorize and empower the
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commis-
sion to lease, and/or grant privileges, permits and/or
concessions on park lands within the Maryland-Wash-
ington Metropolitan District for purposes not incon-
sistent with their use for park purposes; and to provide
penalties for transferring lots in unrecorded subdivisions
within the said District; and to authorize the said Com-
mission to take control of certain property devised by
Violet Blair Janin to the State for a park, and for accept-
ing said property, as required by the devise, and for
making provision for the perpetual maintenance of said
property as a park open to the public.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 6 and 14 of Chapter 448 of the
Laws of Maryland of 1927, as said Act was amended by
Chapter 286 of the Laws of Maryland of 1929, by Chapter
204 of the Laws of Maryland of 1931, and by Chapter 370
of the Laws of Maryland of 1931, be and the same are
