repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as
follows:
590. The State's Attorney of Prince George's County
hereafter elected or appointed is hereby authorized, em-
powered and directed to appear before said Police Justice
at any and all times he may in his judgment think public
necessity requires his presence as the representative of the
State of Maryland to participate in criminal prosecutions
or hearing before said Police Justice, and the County Com-
missioners are hereby authorized, empowered and directed
to pay said State's Attorney for the services rendered by
virtue of his appearance and attendance as aforesaid, the
sum of nine hundred dollars ($900) per annum, for his
compensation and expenses incident thereto, in addition to
the salary now allowed him by law.
943. The State's Attorney of Prince George's County,
Maryland, hereafter elected or appointed shall receive a
salary of one thousand three hundred and fifty dollars to be
annually levied and paid by the County Commissioners of
said County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

536 of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot County, " sub-
title "Trappe".
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 536 of Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), entitled
