the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed upon a yea and nay vote, sup-
ported by three-fifths of all of the members elected to each
of the two houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 487.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 205 to 209, inclusive, of Article
9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Charles County, " sub-title "Liquor &
Intoxicating Drinks, " and to enact in lieu thereof four
new sections, to be known as Sections 205, 206, 207 and
208, regulating the sale of intoxicating liquors in Charles
County.

CHAPTER 488.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 703, 704, 705, 706, 707, 708,
709. 710, 711, 712, 713, 714, 715, 716, 717, 718, and 719
of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County, "
sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks" as the same
was enacted by Chapter 13 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1917 (Special Session), and to
enact in lieu thereof seventeen new sections to be
known as Sections 703, 704, 705, 706, 707, 708, 709,
710. 711, 712, 713, 714, 715, 716, 717, 718, and 719,
so as to prohibit the manufacture, sale, giving away,
or otherwise disposing of, transportation, solicitation of
orders for intoxicating liquors for beverage purposes
within the limits of Prince George's County, limiting
the possession of the same, providing for the enforce-
ment of such prohibition, prescribing the procedure in
cases of violation thereof, including search and seizure,
and for punishment upon conviction for offenses com-
mitted in violation of the same; and providing for the
