the sum claimed shall not exceed one hundred dollars, but
no special pleading shall be required before a justice of
the peace.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 474.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 99 of the 1929
Supplement to the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land as amended by Chapter 543 of the Acts of 1931 en-
titled "Wild Fowl—Birds and Game, " sub-title "Hunter's
Licenses, " to immediately follow Section 17, to be known
as Section 17A, providing for the return of the sum of
$43, 169. 00 to the general funds of the State from "The
State Game Protection Fund, " during each of the fiscal
years 1934 and 1935.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be, and the same is hereby
added to Article 99 of the 19i29 Supplement to the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland as amended by Chapter
543 of the Acts of 1931, entitled "Wild Fowl—Birds and
Game, " sub-title "Hunter's Licenses, " to immediately fol-
low Section 17, to be known as Section 17A, and to read
as follows:

17A. From the annual appropriation of $133, 920. 00 to
the State Game Department, the sum of $43, 169. 00, or such
part thereof as may remain in the "State Game Protection
Fund" at the expiration of each of the fiscal years 1934
and 1935, shall be returned by the State Game Depart-
ment to the general funds of the State, in each of said
years, to be expended in accordance with the appropria-
tions of the General Assembly; nothing contained in Sec-
tion 17 hereof or any other Act or any other Acts, or parts
of Acts, to the contrary notwithstanding.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1st, 1933.
