that said judges and clerks shall within twenty-four hours
after the closing of the polls in each election deliver into
the hands of the Mayor one certificate or return of the
result of the canvass of the ballots cast in the election, to-
gether with the tally sheet, and shall deliver another certifi-
cate or return of the result of said canvass, together with
the other tally sheet, into the hands of the chairman of the
Council, and shall deliver the ballot box containing the
ballots, properly sealed, to the clerk of the Council in per-
son.

CHAPTER 472.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County, " sub-title "Maryland-Washing-
ton Metropolitan District, " said new section to be known
as Section 750 A and to follow immediately after Section
750 of said Article, relating to the dumping of garbage,
trash, rubbish, refuse or junk within the boundaries of
the Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District in
Prince George's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County, " sub-title
"Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District, " said new
section to be known as Section 750A, to follow immediately
after Section 750 of said Article, and to read as follows:

750A. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or cor-
poration, not residing and/or located in the Maryland-
Washington Metropolitan District lying within Prince
George's County, or for any person, firm or corporation
residing and/or located within said boundaries and col-
lecting such materials for hire, to dump garbage, trash,
rubbish, refuse or junk on any private dump within said
boundaries without the consent of the owner of the land,
or to dump the same on any public dump within said
boundaries without a permit from the Washington Subur-
ban Sanitary Commission. The Washington Suburban San-
itary Commission is hereby authorized to issue permits
annually for the dumping of such materials on such public
