shall be paid by said County Commissioners. The said gen-
eral counsel shall hold his office at the pleasure of the
Board of Supervisors of Elections of Washington County,
and may be removed by said board in their discretion at
any time, and upon such removal, the said Supervisors shall
be authorized to appoint other counsel. He shall not re-
ceive any other compensation, emolument, pay, fee, appear-
ance fee or recompense of any kind whatsoever for his
services as such general counsel, and no attorney's fee
shall be taxed as a part of the costs in any case in which
he appears as such general counsel.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 421.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Charles County, '' sub-title "Election Officials, " said new
section to be known as Section 105A and to follow im-
mediately after Section 105 of said Article, relating to
the salary of the Board of Supervisors of Elections and
its Clerk in the years in which no election is held.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added
to Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Charles County, " sub-title "Election
Officials, " said new section to be known as Section 105A, to
follow immediately after Section 105 of said Article and to
read as follows:
105A. The members of the Board of Supervisors of
Elections of Charles County shall not be paid any salary
in the years in which no election is held, but the Clerk to
said Board shall be paid a salary of one hundred dollars
in each of said years for the duties which he has to per-
form and the County Commissioners shall include said sum
in the tax levy for each of said years.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be
