exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00) or imprison-
ment not exceeding six months in the House of Correction
or in jail or both fined and imprisoned.

316J. It shall be unlawful for any brewer or manufac-
turer or distiller of any of the beverages herein referred
to to have any interest, direct or indirect, in the establish-
ment of any business for which a retail license herein pro-
vided for has been granted. Any such brewer, manufac-
turer or distiller who shall violate the provisions of this
section shall be, punished by fine not exceeding One Thou-
sand Dollars ($1, 000. 00) and in addition thereto the manu-
facturer's license issued under the provisions of this Act
to any person so convicted shall automatically stand
revoked.

316K. It shall be unlawful for any licensee, holding an
"Off Sale" license as herein provided to sell, barter, ex-
change or give away any of the herein licensed beverages
for consumption upon the licensed premises. Any such
licensee violating the provisions of this section shall upon
conviction be punished by a fine not exceeding Five Hun-
dred Dollars ($500. 00) or imprisonment not exceeding six
months in the House of Correction or in jail or both fined
and imprisoned, and in addition thereto the license so
issued to the person so convicted shall automatically stand
revoked.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed on a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
