and follow immediately after Section 107 of said Article, to
read as follows:

Section 107A. And be it further enacted, That the
County Commissioners for Dorchester County are hereby
authorized and empowered to employ, when the public
safety shall demand it, a detective for Dorchester County
to serve for such time as he may be employed and to be
paid only for the time of his actual services, an amount to
be agreed upon by the County Commissioners at the time
of his employment and to be paid out of the contingent fund
levied by the County Commissioners; that he shall operate
under the supervision and direction of the State's Attorney
for said county.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 366.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
153 and 154 of Article 10 of the Public Local Laws of
Maryland (Flack Edition), title "Dorchester County, "
sub-title "Board of Estimates, " relating to the issuing
of certificates of indebtedness for certain purposes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 153 and 154 of Article 10 of the
Public Local Laws of Maryland (Flack Edition), title
"Dorchester County, " sub-title "Board of Estimates, " re-
lating to the issuing of certificates of indebtedness for cer-
tain purposes, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, to read as follows:

Section 153. The Board of County Commissioners of
Dorchester County shall not after the first day of May,
1916, create any obligation or liability on the part of or
on the credit of the county which shall be a floating debt,
and no temporary loan shall be made to pay any deficiency
arising from a failure to realize sufficient income from
revenue and taxation to meet the amounts provided for in
the said list of estimates; but the Board of County Com-
