citizen or taxpayer of said county exhibit the same to such
person, and make and certify copies or extracts there-
from, without charge. He shall give bond in the penalty
of ten thousand dollars for the faithful performance of
his duties, to be secured by a bonding company, the prem-
ium on said bond to be paid by the County Commissioners,
and to be approved by the said Commissioners, and he
shall qualify under the State Constitution. He shall
countersign all checks issued by the County Treasurer in.
payment of warrant for bills against Dorchester County;
and shall examine each monthly, quarterly and annual re-
ports made by the County Treasurer, and certify to the
correctness of all such reports as soon as practical there-
after.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 363.

AN ACT to authorize W. Hamilton Spedden, Cashier of
The People's Loan, Savings & Deposit Bank, of Cam-
bridge, Maryland, a corporation of the State of Mary-
land, or his successor, to pay unto the Board of Education
of Dorchester County the sum of money now standing to
his credit in said Bank under the terms of an agreement
in writing between the said Board of Education and the
"High School Building Commission, " a body created by
Chapter 493, of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at the January session, 1931, being the
sum of four thousand seventy seven and 28/100 dollars
($4077. 28), together with interest accrued and to ac-
crue thereon, and also authorizing and directing the said
Board of Education to pay unto the County Commis-
sioners of Dorchester County any sum, remaining in its'
hands under the terms of the aforesaid Chapter 493, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, the said
sum to be deposited by the said County Commissioners
to -the credit of the sinking fund provided for the re-
demption and payment of the bonds authorized by the
Acts of 1931, Chapter 493.
