SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 184 of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County, "
sub-title "Treasurer, " be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendment.
Section 184. The Treasurer, subject to the consent of
the County Commissioners, shall appoint a deputy treas-
urer, who shall qualify under the Constitution of the State
and shall give bond to the Treasurer as he may require;
and the salary of said deputy treasurer shall not exceed
twelve hundred ($1, 200. 00) dollars a year, payable
monthly. The Treasurer shall appoint a clerk for the
proper discharge of the duties of his office, subject to the
consent of the County Commissioners and the salary of
said clerk shall be eight hundred ($800. 00) dollars a year,
payable monthly.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 361.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendment Section
408 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Dorchester County, " sub-title "Orphans'
Court. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 408 of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County, "
sub-title "Orphans' Court, " be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendment.
Section 408. The Judges of the Orphans' Court of Dor-
chester County shall each receive the sum of six
($6. 00) dollars for every day's attendance upon the
sessions of said court, to be paid by the County
Commissioners of said Dorchester County in quarterly
payments, upon the certificate of the register of wills
for said county; provided, that no judge absent from any
