642 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 357

(1930 Edition), title "Caroline County, " sub-title "County
Commissioners, " said new section to be known as Section
106GG, to follow immediately after Section 106G of said
Article (as said section was enacted by Chapter 321 of the
Acts of 1931), and to read as follows:

106GG. The County Commissioners of Caroline County
are hereby authorized and empowered to temporarily bor-
row on promissory note or notes during the fiscal years
of 1932-1933 a sum of money not to exceed $75, 000. 00, the
same to mature and be paid not later than November first
of the following year; this amount being in addition to
the amount said County Commissioners were authorized to
borrow for years 1932-1933 as provided in Chapter 321
of the Acts of 1931. The County Commissioners of Caro-
line County are hereby authorized and empowered to tem-
porary borrow on promissory note or notes during the
fiscal years of 1933-1934 a sum of money not to exceed
$90, 000. 00, the same to mature and be paid not later than
November first of the following year; this amount being
in addition to the amount said County Commissioners were
authorized to borrow for years 1933-1934 as provided in
Chapter 321 of the Acts of 1931. The County Commis-
sioners of Caroline County are hereby authorized and em-
powered to temporary borrow on promissory note or notes
during the fiscal years 1935-1936 a sum of money not to
exceed $90, 000. 00, the same to mature and be paid not
later than November first of the following year; this
amount being in addition to the amount said County Com-
missioners were authorized to borrow for years 1935-1936
as provided in Chapter 321 of the Acts of 1931.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.
