SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and
parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act
be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of their
inconsistency, provided that nothing herein contained shall
be taken as affecting Chapter 810 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1914, nor as restricting any control which the State
Board of Health of Maryland is empowered to exercise
within the corporate limits of said town.

SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That Chapter 282
of the Acts of 1931, entitled "An Act providing for the
issuing and sale of bonds by the Mayor and Council of
Grantsville for constructing, erecting and maintaining
water works in said Town of Grantsville, condemn such
land as may be necessary for the building of said works,
and to levy taxes on the assessable property of said town
to redeem said bonds and to pay the interest thereon, " be
and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 28.

AN ACT to add two new sections to Article 18 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, 1930, title "Queen
Anne's County, " sub-title "Centreville" to be known as
Section 45A and Section 45B, regulating the method of
nominating candidates for election to the office of Town
Commissioner of Centreville, and publishing the list of
nominees with the date of election.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the following two sections be added to
Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
1930, to follow Section 45 of said Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, 1930, and to be known as Section 45A
and Section 45B.
