Caroline County to make collection of all State and county
taxes due and in arrear at the time of the passage of this
Act and it is hereby further provided that nothing in this
Act shall be construed to affect in any manner the legality
of any tax sales heretofore made by the county treasurer of
aforesaid county; and the said county treasurer shall re-
port such sales as provided by the existing law at the time
of the making thereof, and the same proceeding shall be
had in reference thereto in the same manner as if this Act
had not been enacted.
120N. The County Commissioners of Caroline County
are hereby authorized and empowered, in their discretion,
to purchase any property offered for sale for the payment
of taxes, provided they shall not bid a sum greater approxi-
mately than the taxes in arrears on said property and the
interest and expenses of sale and all costs of reporting such
sale, and to sell and convey or lease the same, as in their
judgment and discretion shall be deemed best for the in-
terest of the county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect January 1, 1934.

CHAPTER 295.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
73 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County, " sub-
title "County Commissioners, " decreasing the compensa-
tion of the County Commissioners of Calvert County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 73 of Article 5 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Cal-
vert County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to
read as follows:
73. There shall be three County Commissioners for
Calvert County. They shall each receive an annual salary
