84A. Any person or corporation who shall acquire any
personal property, or who shall erect a new building or
other permanent improvements upon any real estate owned
by said person or corporation in Harford County, the value
of which is more than One Hundred Dollars, shall notify
the County Commissioners of Harford County of the prop-
erty so purchased or the improvements so constructed,
either in person or by a letter addressed to the Office of said
Commissioners in Bel Air, giving a general description of
said property and the location, together with the owner's
value thereof. Any person or corporation failing to comply
with the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction thereof before a Magistrate
or the Circuit Court for Harford County shall be fined not
less than Five Dollars nor more than Twenty-five Dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1st, 1933.

CHAPTER 261.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
204 of Article 77 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, 1924 Edition, title "Public Education, " sub-
title "Source and Distribution of Income, " for the pur-
pose of reducing the amount of taxes to be levied by the
Counties of this State sharing in the Equalization Fund
from sixty-seven cents (67c) to forty-seven cents (47c)
on each one hundred dollars ($100. 00) of assessable
property, and to provide for the cost of transporting
pupils to public elementary schools and one-half the cost
of transporting pupils to Public High Schools when the
transportation is approved by the State Superintendent
of Schools.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 204 of Article 56 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, 1924 Edition, title
"Public Education, " sub-title "Source and Distribution of
Income, " be, and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
