been served with notice by publication as herein provided,
and all persons claiming by or through him or them by
virtue of any conveyance or transfer or transmission of
title subsequent to the service of said subpoena or the first
insertion in a newspaper of the order of publication.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That nothing in
this Act shall be construed as repealing or modifying any
provisions now contained in Article IV of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), governing
the conducting of tax sales by the City Collector of Balti-
more, the procedure herein provided for being intended to
be an addition to and not in lieu of the existing provisions
regarding sales of property for non-payment of taxes.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1933.

CHAPTER 222.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Article 88A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "State Aid and Chari-
ties," providing that the Director of the State Depart-
ment of Health shall be a member of the Board of State
Aid and Charities, and relating to the employees of said
Board and the powers and duties of the Board and its
employees.
