appoint a suitable person to serve until the next general
election for State and County officers.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 171.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
3 and 8 of Chapter 731 of the Acts of 1920 and to add
sixteen additional sections to be numbered and desig-
nated as Sections 10A, 10B, 10C, 10D, 10E, 10F, 10G,
10H, 101, 10J, 10K, 10L, 10M, 10N, 10 O and 10P, to
said Act of 1920, entitled "An Act to incorporate the
town of Riverdale, in Prince George's County, Mary-
land, and to fix the town limits thereof, define the per-
sons qualified to vote therein, to provide for and regu-
late the election and appointment of officers therefor
and the terms and qualifications of such officers, to de-
fine the method of government thereof, to define the cor-
porate powers and to provide an election to determine
whether or not the citizens thereof desire to become in-
corporated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 3 and 8 of Chapter 731 of the Acts
of 1920, entitled "An Act to incorporate the town of River-
dale in Prince George's County, Maryland, and to fix the
town limits thereof, define the persons qualified to vote
therein, to provide for and regulate the election and ap-
pointment of officers therefor and the terms and qualifi-
cations of such officers, to define the method of Govern-
ment thereof, to define the corporate powers and to pro-
vide an election to determine whether or not the citizens
thereof desire to become incorporated, be and the same
hereby are repealed and re-enacted with amendments and
that there be added sixteen additional sections to be num-
bered and designated as Sections 10A, 10B, 10C, 10D, 10E,
HOB, 10G 10H, 10I, 10J, 10K, 10L, 10M, 10N, 10 O and
10P, to read as follows:
