of the Justice of the Peace before whom said person is
brought, be committed to either the Chief of the Prince
George's County Police or. the Sheriff of said County.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 141.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
370 of Article I of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Justices
of the Peace and Constables, " as said section was re-
enacted and amended by Chapter 664 of the Acts of 1927,
relating to the compensation of the Justice of the Peace
for Juvenile cases; and to provide that said Act be
passed as an emergency measure.

CHAPTER 142.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
373 and 378 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's
County, " sub-title "Dogs, " providing that the receipts
from dog licenses shall be credited to the general county
funds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 373 and 378 of Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Prince George's County, " sub-title "Dogs, " be and
they are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments
to read as follows:
