ten dollars and eighty cents ($10. 80) to be paid by
the County Commissioners of said county in quarterly
payments; and the first payment on account of such
salary shall be made on the first Tuesday in the month
of July, 1923, and thereafter on the first Tuesday in
the months of October, January, April and July in
each year; and the County Commissioners of said county
at the time for their annual levy for the year 1923, and
annually thereafter, shall levy upon the assessable prop-
erty of the said county a sum sufficient to pay the salaries
of the judges of the Orphans' Court as above provided.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
not be construed to affect the compensation of the said
Judges of the Orphans' Court during their present term
but shall only apply after the expiration of the terms of
the present incumbents.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 125.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
730 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County, " sub-
title "State's Attorney, " decreasing the compensation of
the State's Attorney of Frederick County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 730 of Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Frederick County, " sub-title "State's Attorney, " be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to
read as follows:
730. The State's Attorney for Frederick County, be-
ginning January first, A. D. 1935, shall receive as compen-
sation for the discharge of his official duties connected with
the administration of said office, as well as such duties as
may hereafter be required of him By: law, the sum of
Twenty-two Hundred and, Fifty Dollars ($2, 250. 00) per
