for the County Commissioners to pay the Sheriff for any
expenditures incurred by him until said report as herein
provided shall be submitted.
390B. The County Commissioners for Wicomico County
are hereby directed, authorized and empowered to make
provision by appropriation in their annual levy from year
to year for sufficient funds to pay the expenses herein-
before provided for. In computing the expenses of the
Sheriff's office the computation shall be made from the
first day of June in each and every year hereafter.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the unconsti-
tutionally of any one or more of the aforegoing provisions
or sections shall not be construed as invalidating the other
provisions of this Act.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or
parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933. "

CHAPTER 118.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
201 of Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Howard. County, " sub-
title "Justices of the Peace and Constables, " and also to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments,, Section 293 of
said Article of said Code, sub-title "Sheriff, " reducing the
number of Justices of the Peace, and Deputy Sheriffs and
relating to the duties and compensation, of Constables, of
Howard County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly, of
Maryland, That Section 201 of Article 14 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "How-
ard County, " sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Con-
stables, " and Section 293 of said Article of said Code, sub-
title "Sheriff, " be and the same are here by repea1ed and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
201. There shall be the following, number of justices
of the peace and constables for Howard County, to wit:
