SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is an
emergency law necessary for the immediate preservation
of the health and welfare of the residents of the City of
Cumberland, and, three-fifths of the members of each
House of the General Assembly concurring therein by yea
and nay vote, the same shall be effective from the date of
its passage.

CHAPTER 92.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 330 of the Acts of 1920 so as
to provide that the provisions of Article 93 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland, fixing the salary of the Judges
of the Orphans' Court of the several Counties, shall apply
to the Judges of the Orphans' Court of Carroll County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 330 of the Acts of 1920 be and
it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 93.
AN ACT to add a section to Article 14 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Howard
County, " said additional section to come in immedi-
ately after Section 235 of said Article of said Code,
and to be designated as 235A, the same relating to costs
of transporting prisoners.
SECTION 1. Be "it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a section be added to Article 14 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Howard
County, " said additional section to come in immediately
after Section 235 of said Article of said Code, to be desig-
nated as 235A, and to read as follows:
