CHAPTER 77.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
509 of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot County, " sub-
title "State's Attorney, " relating to the compensation of
the State's Attorney of Talbot County.
SECTION 1.. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 509 of Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Tal-
bot County, " sub-title "State's Attorney, " be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read
as follows:
509. The County Commissioners of Talbot County shall
pay to the State's Attorney of said county hereafter elected
or appointed, such salary as said commissioners may de-
termine, not exceeding eighteen hundred dollars per an-
num, payable quarterly; and it shall be unlawful for the
said State's Attorney to receive, or the County Commis-
sioners to pay him, any other or further compensation,
salary, or fee of any kind whatsoever, except as herein-
after provided.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 78.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
67 of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot County, " sub-
title "County Commissioners, " decreasing the compen-
sation of the County Commissioners of Talbot County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 67 of Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Tal-
bot County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to
read as follows:
